Once more, Team India has brought home the World Championship of Legends trophy, making the nation proud. In the final match, which took place at Edgbaston, Birmingham, India’s champions defeated Pakistan’s champions by a margin of five wickets, led by Yuvraj Singh.

After receiving a match briefing, the Pakistani Champions chose to bat first after winning the toss. Pakistan scored 156 runs in 20 overs while batting first, losing 6 wickets. Out of which, Maqsoof scored 21 runs, Kamran Akmal scored 24, and Shoaib Mallik scored 41. Anureet Singh got three wickets for the Indian side, and Vinay Kumar, Negi, and Irfan Pathan each claimed one wicket.

With five runs remaining, the India Champions, who were chasing the target, made 159 runs and overcame Pakistan by five wickets. Of those, Yusuf Pathan scored thirty, Gurjeerat Singh Mann scored thirty, and Ambati Rayudu scored fifty. Aamer Yamin grabbed two wickets for the Pakistan Champions, while Saeed Ajmal, Wahab Riaz, and Shoaib Malik each claimed one wicket.
