Cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar to be conferred with BCCI lifetime achievement award

The BCCI Lifetime Achievement Award will be given to cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar. This honour will be given to the former Indian batter tomorrow at the Board’s annual function in Mumbai.

Sachin (51) holds the record for the most runs in both Test and ODI history and has participated in 664 international matches for India.

He has participated in 463 ODIs and 200 Test matches. Known affectionately as “Master Blaster,” Sachin Tendulkar has amassed 15,921 Test runs and 18,426 ODI runs. During his test career, he amassed 51 hundreds, and in the ODI format, 49 hundreds. During his career, the renowned hitter participated in just one Twenty20 International match.

In 2023, former India head coach Ravi Shastri and legendary wicketkeeper Farokh Engineer received the BCCI’s highest prestigious accolade, the CK Nayudu Lifetime Achievement accolade. The 2024 C K Nayudu Lifetime Achievement Award will go to Sachin Tendulkar.
