Ind vs Eng 5th T20I: India beat England by mammoth margin of 150 runs, wins series by 4-1

In the last Twenty20 International of the series, India trounced England by a massive 150-run margin. The home team now leads the series 4-1 after this victory.

In the fifth Twenty20 International at Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium, India set a lofty goal of 248 runs ahead of England. After winning the toss, England chose to bowl first. India finished 20 overs with a score of 247/9 while batting first.

India scored a huge 247 runs in 20 overs with to Abhishek Sharma’s aggressive 135 (54). was the main factor that led to this high score. Shivam Dube’s 30 (13), Tilak Varma’s 24 (15), Samson’s 16 (7), and Axar’s 15 (11) innings all made little contributions.

The foreign team was all-out with just 97 runs in 10.3 overs, despite a vigorous chase. The only hitter who significantly contributed to the total was Philip Salt, who scored 55 (23) runs. No other hitter on the England squad scored more than ten runs, with the exception of Jacob Bethell (10 (7)).
