At Chennai’s MA Chidambaram Stadium, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) will square off in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 championship game.
Under Gautam Gambhir’s guidance, KKR last won the IPL championship in 2014. Gambhir is currently the team’s mentor. In the meantime, SRH won the championship in 2016 under the leadership of David Warner, and in 2024, they will once more be captained by an Australian cricket player.
In their 27 IPL meetings, Kolkata has prevailed in the head-to-head showdown between the two teams.
