T20 World Cup: ICC To Set Up Record Number Of Fan Parks To Broadcast Mega Event

The biggest cricket carnival will be brought to communities by the International Cricket Council (ICC), which has revealed a record number of fan parks to broadcast the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024. There will be nine live sites, including one in New Delhi, across five different countries. The most fan parks for an ICC World Cup ever will be found in places like New York City, New Delhi, and Rawalpindi, where a total of 22 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 matches will be aired.

Fans from all over the world won’t want to miss the live entertainment, which includes DJs, food and drink vendors, cricket ambassadors, and family activities, in the parks. One of the most notable locations in New York City is the Oculus World Trade Centre, where a fan park will host 18 matches on 10 different occasions, including the much awaited Final on June 29.

New Yorkers may also witness the June 1 World Cup opening between the USA and Canada, as well as the June 8 and June 9 matches between Australia and England, and India and Pakistan, the bitter rivals. The Group A match between India and Pakistan will be broadcast live from ten different fan parks, including the Indira Gandhi Indoor Arena in New Delhi, India, the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium in Pakistan, and Cedar Creek Park in Seaford, New York, which is hosted by Nassau County.

Fans at the other two host USA venues, Epic Central in Grand Prairie, Texas, and Broward County Stadium in Florida, will also have the chance to participate in fan parks.

Outside of the United States, the highly anticipated India vs. Pakistan match and the Proteas’ opening match against Sri Lanka on June 3 will be shown at the DP World Wanderers Stadium in South Africa, while the June 9 match will also be shown in Birmingham’s Edgbaston Cricket Stadium.

Live feeds will be available for all ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 fan parks thanks to the cooperation of the ICC’s broadcast partners in each zone.

“We are thrilled to be able to bring communities together through broadcasting the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 in a record number of fan parks,” stated Chris Tetley, Head of Events for the ICC.

“The goal of these parks is to increase the accessibility and enjoyment of the sport, giving fans of all ages the chance to witness a T20 World Cup unlike anything they have ever seen. He stated that the fan parks will serve as a means of bringing more people to the biggest T20 World Cup history, with 23 matches spread over 16 locations in five different countries.
