Mahendra Singh Dhoni, the most adored captain of India, has made Indian Premier League history (IPL). MS Dhoni has participated in the competition since the league’s founding in 2008.
As the first player to participate in 150 league victories in the 17 season, MS Dhoni cemented his legacy in the annals of cricket history. The skipper of the Chennai Super Kings, the five-time IPL champion side, has won 135 games overall in the IPL’s history. Dhoni also won 15 games in 2016 and 2017 while playing for the Rising Pune Super Giants.
Remarkably, Dhoni has participated in 259 IPL games thus far, captaining 226 of them. In addition, Dhoni captained the squad 133 times during his 150 IPL victories. As a captain, no other player in IPL history has won more than 100 games.
Dhoni is followed by Rohit Sharma and Ravindra Jadeja with 133 victories on the list of most win matches. With 125 victories, Suresh Raina and Dinesh Karthik are ranked second and third, respectively.
Regarding yesterday’s game, which took place at MA Chidambaram Stadium, Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) was defeated by Chennai Super Kings (CSK) by a margin of 78 runs. Ruturaj Gaikwad, the current captain of CSK, scored the most runs (98) in the game. When batting first, CSK set SRH a goal of 213 runs; however, at 134 runs, SRH lost every wicket. Against the reigning champions, SRH chose to bowl first after winning the toss.
