Although it is unknown if Jasprit Bumrah would return to Team India, he is expected to play in the last ODI against England on February 12 in Ahmedabad. Although he was selected for the 2025 Champions Trophy, his health is still in doubt due to this back ailment.

Bumrah will miss the opening two ODIs against England because he has been told to refrain from bowling for five weeks. According to a recent report, though, if his scan results are favourable, he could be able to join the squad for the last ODI. The date of the scan is set for February 2.

The final series before the Champions Trophy will be Team India’s ODI series against England, which starts on February 6. For them, it will be their final test before the competition. Harshit Rana has been named the team’s substitute in the ODI squad, although Bumrah’s participation is still up in the air.
